Our Vision

We work for a world where no-one is needlessly blind and Indigenous Australians enjoy the same life expectancy as other Australians.

We work with local blindness prevention and health organisations throughout the world. We currently have programs operating in Africa, Asia and Australia.

In 2007 we carried out an amazing 143,759 eye operations, up from 73,838 in 2006. We have examined over 1.2 million people, providing essential eye care to some of the world's poorest regions
