Scouts Australia is the largest youth development organisation in Australia with around 60,000 members. Scouting aims to encourage the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development of young people (aged 6 to 26) so they can reach their full potential in life and take a constructive place in their local, national and international communities. Scouts of all ages enjoy individualised, fun, adventurous and challenging programs with a focus on leadership and teamwork.
There are over 28 million Scouts in 160 countries worldwide. With an emphasis on peace, education and understanding, Scouting transcends all cultural, religious, racial, political, age and gender barriers
